A Talk in Paris EHESS by Professor Garon

Sheldon Garon, Principal Investigator in "The Global War on Civilians" project, delivered a talk entitled “The Transnational Destruction of Cities in Europe and East Asia, 1914–1945” as part of the Environmental History Seminar at EHESS.

The lecture explores strategies to attack and defend cities from a transnational and comparative perspective.

The talk took place on Friday, 6 February at EHESS as part of the Environmental History Seminar of the Groupe de recherche en histoire environnementale (GRHEN) at EHESS. This research is conducted within the framework of the ERC Advanced Grant project, “The Global War on Civilians, 1905–1945,” hosted by the Centre d’histoire de Sciences Po (Paris).
