Professor Garon delivered a lecture at GIJ Tokyo
Professor Sheldon Garon (Princeton University & Sciences Po) delivered a lecture at German Institute for Japanese Studies in Tokyo titled “Writing a Global History of the Second World War by Taking Japan Seriously".
The lecture addressed the questions: What role did Japan play in World War Two? How does our understanding of Global History change if we consider Japan more seriously?
